Your data controls
Delete a record or your entire account.
Choose the level of deletion you need. Individual scans and entries can be managed without removing your whole progress history, while account deletion closes the account and begins deletion of associated personal information.
Delete individual records
Use the available controls inside BodyFat AI to remove an individual scan, progress photo set, nutrition entry, check in, or other supported record. Deleting an individual item does not close your account or cancel a subscription.
Delete your account
- Start in the app.
Open Profile, choose Privacy, then select Delete account and follow the confirmation steps shown on screen. - Or email our support team.
Write from the email address associated with your account to support@bodyfataiapp.com with the subject “BodyFat AI account deletion request.” - Complete verification.
We may ask you to verify the account or provide information reasonably necessary to protect against unauthorised deletion. - Deletion is processed.
Once verified, we close the account and process associated personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Deleting the app or your BodyFat AI account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google. Visit Manage subscription to prevent future renewals.
What account deletion covers
Subject to legal and operational exceptions, an account deletion request covers information associated with the account, which may include profile details, scans and progress photos, derived body composition estimates, nutrition and recovery entries, progress history, imported health information, adaptive plan outputs, preferences, and eligible usage records.
Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with law, maintain tax or transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, protect security, or honour a request not to contact you. Information may also remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten through their ordinary cycle. Deidentified information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.
Disconnect health access
You can revoke BodyFat AI access to Apple Health, Health Connect, or another connected source from your device or platform settings. Revoking access stops future retrieval authorised through that connection. To remove information already imported into BodyFat AI, delete the relevant records or request account deletion.
Export before you delete
If you want a copy of eligible account information, request access or export before deleting the account. Once deletion is completed, information may not be recoverable.
